Some more photos of Vittalapuram and Poonthandalam.
Shri Anjaneya swami temple opposite the main temple of Lord Vittal, just like in Tirupathi.
Construction of compound wall with gate to keep the vandals away from spoiling the garden etc., inside and around the temple.

 Photo showing the first prakaram.

View of the main entrance to the sanctum.

 Lord Anjaneya temple at Poonthandalam.
The few snap shots of this Pallava-period-temple(probably) werte taken at VITTALAPURAM on 29-6-2013. The weather was cloudy, the sun playing hide and seek. This temple is 17kms from Mahabalipuram on the ECR. A very nice and well maintained temple. The main deity is Lord Sri Krishna with his consorts Rukmani and Sathyabama. Of late the temple is attracting some crowd, at least during weekends. The last two photos were taken a few kms before Vittapuram at Poonthandalam, where you will find this beautiful Anjaneya temple.

Manoranjitham

Manoranjitham flowers, very popular for their intoxicating fragrance. One flower in full bloom in a room and you can smell it all around the house.
